About the role

• IT-Architect responsible for modernizing system architecture and leading technical roadmaps at Blume2000. Collaborating with IT teams to implement pragmatic solutions and bridge business-IT alignment.

Responsibilities

• You take technical responsibility for our system landscape on behalf of the department management.
• You make architecture decisions for existing and new systems and document them transparently.
• You actively shape the technical roadmap and implement pragmatic solutions together with the team.
• You support the modernization of our legacy systems and ensure an evolutionary transition to modern architectures.
• You are responsible for system integration – from ERP connections (Business Central) to external APIs and batch processes.
• You support the team as a sparring partner, mentor and bridge-builder between business and IT.

Requirements

• Proven experience in system architecture (monoliths and microservices).
• Expertise in Python/Flask, database architecture (SQL Server, Azure SQL, performance optimization) and API design.
• Solid understanding of the Azure Cloud and knowledge in security (authentication, authorization, MSAL/Azure AD).
• Experience as a Team Lead or Technical Lead – you can guide and motivate developers.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills – you translate between business and IT.
• Hands-on mentality – you get involved and implement solutions, not just write concepts.
• Pragmatism – you know when "good enough" is better than "perfect".
• Diplomatic skills – you mediate between legacy developers and modernizers.
