Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex, large-scale enterprise applications using Pega technology.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing product and platform releases.
- Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with architects, developers, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Establish and promote best practices in software development, system architecture, and deployment across test, integration, and production environments.
- Actively participate in code reviews and automated testing to uphold engineering excellence.
- Design, develop, and maintain seamless system integrations, including internal and external APIs, file transfers, and SQL queries.
- Influence and drive creative improvements, challenging the status quo to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Pega Software Engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience in Agile Software Development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
- Pega Senior System Architect Certification (Pega CSSA)
- Strong expertise in Pega Case Management, application security, integration rules (connectors and services), and Pega's layering concepts for optimal reusability
- Experience in Dispute, Fraud, or any case management domain is a plus.
