About the role

  • AI Governance Operations Specialist ensuring operational AI governance for local and group projects with innovative AI solutions at UNIQA. Collaborating on AI use cases and developing governance tools.

Responsibilities

  • You ensure operational AI governance for local (AT) and group projects delivering innovative AI solutions
  • You support and advise business units on AI use cases throughout the entire AI governance process
  • You improve and develop best practices, templates, and tools for the operational implementation of data and AI governance in collaboration with the AI Governance Lead for the UNIQA Group
  • You are part of an agile team driving innovation for the UNIQA Group while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • You independently coordinate and conduct AI assessments and manage the backlog

Requirements

  • University degree with a legal background or several years of relevant professional experience in a regulatory environment (e.g. auditing, consulting, audit, compliance, risk management)
  • Knowledge of the AI Act and GDPR is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of copyright law, contract law, product liability and tort/damages law is an advantage
  • Experience with and interest in new technologies such as AI and chatbots is desirable
  • Structured, goal-oriented working style, enjoyment of teamwork and strong self-initiative
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German, and the ability to interpret legal texts
  • Self-organization, time management skills, and active use of modern office tools
