Responsibilities
- Design and implement medium-complexity data pipelines.
- Ingest data from various sources (databases, APIs, logs, web, others) and integrate with data lake/warehouse.
- Optimize the performance of pipelines, queries, and data transformations.
- Contribute to data modeling and data quality (governance, validation).
- Document workflows, perform code reviews, and share knowledge within the team.
- Support a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare business and align solutions with strategic objectives together with the Product Owners (POs) of each stream.
- Estimate and propose realistic timelines for project activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Data Engineering.
- Experience in Data Engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, PySpark, SQL.
- Experience with Delta Lake/Tables and orchestration tools (Airflow, Databricks Workflows).
- Experience with version control tools (Azure DevOps, git), basic automated testing knowledge, CI/CD pipelines, and Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Big Data or Data Engineering.
- Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
