About the role

  • Expert Product Owner developing functional and non-functional requirements in a hybrid work setup at Uni Systems. Engage with business needs and Scrum methodologies to optimize product outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Elaborate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze data and model data structures.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance, monitor applicable standards, solution patterns, and best practices with IBM Case Manager (or equivalent case management platform), XML, interoperability, etc.
  • Interact with the business and validate requirements.
  • Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in-depth understanding of Case Management.
  • Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value or return on investment.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint.
  • Participate in decision-making related to user story scheduling into sprints.
  • Engage in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (SCRUM), retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.
  • Review deliverables and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint.
  • Facilitate acceptance of the product by the business.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in IT and minimum 15 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's in IT and minimum 19 years of experience).
  • Experience as an analyst or architect in very large and complex enterprise applications, ideally with integration or interoperability projects.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling and functional analysis using BPMN and UML.
  • Hands-on experience with Case Management software.
  • Practical experience working in Agile environments.
  • Good knowledge of the Application Management Lifecycle.
  • Experience with CMMN (Case Management Model and Notation), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Case Manager or any other Case Management software will be considered an asset.
  • At least one of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or SAFe Product Owner.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required (B2).
