About the role

• Data Architect designing and implementing data solutions and governance procedures for Uni Systems. Optimizing data architecture and collaborating on business intelligence projects in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes
• Design and develop reports and dashboards
• Provide guidance on database design and performance optimization
• Design and implement data governance procedures (including access management, data quality, etc.)
• Develop data architecture models, optimize data flows, and integrate solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses)
• Conduct research to enhance existing solutions and provide recommendations on new approaches and technologies (Data Virtualization, Data Mining, Linked Data, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data)
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to reports and dashboards
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in cross-team meetings and collaboration activities
• Perform data quality testing

Requirements

• Master's degree in IT with minimum 11 years of relevant experience (or Bachelor's degree and minimum of 15 years relevant experience).
• At least 10 years of specific experience in data warehousing.
• Very good knowledge of near real-time data warehousing and/or Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies.
• At least 10 years of specific experience in relational and non-relational database systems, data modelling tools, and SQL.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with ETL tools, SAP Business Objects, and Qlik Sense.
• At least 3 years of experience with Power BI.
• At least 10 years of experience in data quality management.
• Knowledge of data modelling, graphical representation, abstraction, and design.
• Nice to have:
• Experience with MS Fabric.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered analytics, including automated insights, natural language queries, and predictive capabilities.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, including cloud-based business intelligence solutions, Linked Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Certification related to business intelligence tools and/or specific expertise mentioned above or any Project management related certificate will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English at least at level C1. French will be considered an asset.
