About the role
- Data Engineer architecting and maintaining data products using Databricks and Power BI for Nitro's digital transformation efforts. Collaborating to optimize processes and leverage cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Cloud/Azure Environment Management: Continuously monitor data consumption in Azure, applying best practices for platform and consumption optimization and governance.
- Databricks Solution Architecture: Manage and design interfaces for the various systems integrated with Databricks, as well as organize and structure data within the solution.
- Development of New Data Products: Build new data products on Databricks, from data ingestion from source systems and development of business rules to creating documentation and building dashboards in Power BI.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Languages: Intermediate English.
- Specific Knowledge / Skills: Data lakehouse (ideally with Databricks); Power BI; Programming in Python and SQL.
- Advantage: Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning.
- Desired Trainings: White Belt; SDCA; PDCA; Compliance.
