About the role

  • Strategic Initiatives Intern supporting execution of ULSE's organizational strategy through research and project coordination. Engage in strategic planning within a non-profit environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of ULSE’s multi-year organizational strategy by conducting research and synthesizing insights on industry trends, technology, and policy.
  • Assist in preparing strategic updates, presentations, and briefing materials for executive leadership.
  • Help coordinate and deliver on a cross-functional strategic project, for example, technology roadmaps and new product/service evaluations.
  • Monitor external developments in standards and safety advocacy, summarizing findings to inform ULSE’s strategic priorities and decisions.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in a related field.
  • Strong interest in the non-profit sector related to safety, social or environmental issues, and/or strategy, organizational development, or management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data analytics or visualization tools is a plus.
