About the role

  • Strategy Consultant II supporting the development of operational strategies for a major insurance provider. Analyzing data and collaborating with senior leadership to drive growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategy formulation projects focused on operational excellence, innovation, and growth
  • Conduct internal and external analyses (market, competitors, customer segments) to identify opportunities and risks
  • Gather and analyze data within the insurance and financial services industries
  • Develop insights using benchmarking against competitors and best-in-class companies
  • Assist in structuring business problems, forming hypotheses, and guiding data collection and analysis
  • Translate research findings into clear recommendations and business solutions
  • Present insights, conclusions, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Create roadmaps and strategic initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Define and track performance metrics to measure strategy execution and outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, business units) on key initiatives
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Facilitate strategic planning processes and stakeholder discussions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of research tools, methodologies, and reporting frameworks
  • Mentor team members in areas such as project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving
  • Ensure best practices in research, benchmarking, and change management are applied

Requirements

  • Experience in strategy consulting, insurance, or market research/analytics
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience using structured methodologies (e.g., hypothesis-driven approach, Six Sigma is a plus)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA or similar, with focus on Marketing or Research) preferred
