Responsibilities
Lead sourcing strategy and vendor allocation across Greater China and Asia (including Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and other regions).
Oversee all costing processes from first quote through landed cost, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and margin discipline.
Partner closely with the Production team to strengthen vendor relationships, align cost negotiations, and drive on-time delivery performance.
Build and implement standardized systems for tracking cost performance, lead-time, and vendor scorecards.
Negotiate cost structures and optimize supplier mix to balance value, quality, and speed.
Collaborate with the Development team to translate creative briefs into actionable sourcing and production plans that meet cost, design, and timing objectives.
Ensure seamless handoff from concept to production—bridging design, development, and sourcing teams.
Lead, coach, and expand a high-performing Asia-based team (~15 today, with growth planned in development and technical roles).
Requirements
15+ years of leadership in sourcing, development, or manufacturing within consumer or promotional products.
Proven success managing Asia-based teams and multi-country vendor networks.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation expertise.
Experience with Li & Fung, Fung Group, Global Brands Group, or similar organizations strongly preferred.
Exposure to Target, Costco, or major U.S./E.U. retailers preferred.
