Responsibilities
Complete Functional Safety assessments of challenging projects
Support clients in Functional Safety and Cyber-Security topics
Ensure completion of independent project management responsibilities
Set and track time & cost limits
Investigate testing requirements to additional applicable international standards
Supervise / witness laboratory tests
Create test reports, drafts certificates and document test results for performed assessments
Identify new approaches to new developments & technologies used in safety-related environments
Keep strict client confidentiality
Support sales and marketing activities
Requirements
5 years of experience required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; Master’s Degree preferred
Prior experience as a Hardware and/or Software Design Engineer preferred
Superior analytical and project management skills
Strong communications skill sets (written, verbal and active listening)
Strong interpersonal skill sets supporting ability to work effectively with internal team members and clients/client teams
Experience in certifying products to industrial safety standards (e.g. IEC61508) or Cyber-Security (e.g. IEC 62443-4-x) preferred
Project Management Certification Preferred
Good knowledge about the industry, latest developments and changing market conditions
