About the role

  • Industry Consultant I at Truist providing support for Aerospace, Defense & Government Services. Managing transaction execution and developing industry specific content with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to and strengthen the effectiveness of the Industry Specialist(s)
  • Manage all aspects of transaction execution in partnership with internal and external partners
  • Support all aspects of industry origination efforts with minimal oversight
  • Proactively develop industry specific content and represent the industry through banker education
  • Present customized industry solutions to clients and prospects
  • Leverage strong analytical skills, data driven insights, and industry expertise to recommend tailored strategies
  • Drive growth of industries through creation of industry specific content and assisting with prospecting efforts
  • Continues to develop mastery of industries
  • Support Industry Specialists in the development of industry-specific strategic growth initiatives
  • Leverage industry trend analysis to develop actionable strategies
  • Work with Industry Specialists to identify and manage relevant databases, subscriptions, and investment needs
  • Maintain organized information around industry portfolios

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of related financial services work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of respective industry sector(s), banking, market and financial solutions
  • Advanced skills in financial analytical, sales, presentation, client relationship management, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship management
  • Experience in leading the execution of an extensive variety of client transactions
  • Superior skills in written and oral communications and strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team-oriented
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective sales skills, relationship building behaviors and proven ability to quickly establish credibility with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Resourceful and possessing ability to navigate internal complexities and work effectively in a distributed model with demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
