About the role
- Managing Technical Consultant responsible for leading remediation projects in various states across the U.S. Ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality execution of industrial decommissioning and demolition activities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as ERM’s on‑site leader for decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects across a variety of industrial environments
- Ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality execution of remediation construction activities
- Lead the field implementation of both innovative and conventional remedial solutions for contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor
- Act as a key communicator between contractors, field teams, and Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and on budget
- Manage field construction projects involving demolition, environmental remediation, civil works, site development, earthwork, and hazardous waste management
- Provide construction management support and quality assurance/quality control
- Track budgets, manage scopes of work, and support definition of new project scopes
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience supporting remediation construction sites and industrial decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects
- BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
- Excellent client service, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel extensively, with 80–90% of time spent in the field
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
