About the role

  • Senior Director leading enterprise problem management to enhance operational stability at Truist. Focusing on insights and improvements across technology and support processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction for assigned work area
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team
  • Provide triage leadership and communications for high-priority incidents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform Problem Management
  • Maintain awareness of existing and emerging technologies
  • Utilize ITIL framework expertise
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for effectiveness measurement
  • Liaise with executive leadership for status updates
  • Plan and develop budgets and perform salary administration
  • Drive the development and maintenance of a knowledge base
  • Lead staff and evaluate processes regularly
  • Maintain appropriate Risk Profile and partner with defense lines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
  • 15 years’ experience managing system/application engineers
  • 10 years’ relevant business experience
  • 5 years’ managing a large staff
  • 5 years’ experience with budget responsibilities
  • Proven experience driving incident management triage
  • Proven experience with IT service management (ITSM) practices and tools
  • Extensive experience with monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of distributed, mainframe, public and private cloud-based applications
  • Executive level communications skills
  • Strong analytical and architectural skills
  • Knowledge of current and emerging application software products and tools
  • Ability to manage a high volume of internal client relationships
  • Knowledge of all phases of software engineering life cycle
  • Ability to translate enterprise level strategic planning information into business solutions
