  • Medical Records Manager overseeing operations of Regional Medical Records Team at Trinity Health. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while guiding team toward quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Regional Medical Records Team
  • Guide the team’s work with a focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability
  • Ensure all medical record processes meet PACE laws, rules, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor performance through audits and keep team practices aligned with current industry standards
  • Maintain a documented and organized system, accessible for other professionals
  • Provide guidance and training to staff regarding medical record issues
  • Participate in surveys and assist in development of a plan of correction for department deficiencies when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration or related field OR an Associate’s degree in RHIT (or related field) with 3–5 years of medical records experience
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, including managing remote staff
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and related technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email/calendar systems
  • Experience with electronic medical records required; EPIC preferred
