About the role

  • Buchhalter supporting clients in financial projects across different locations. Focused on process optimization and implementation in accounting and finance sectors.

Responsibilities

  • As an Accountant (m/f/d) you will support our clients at various locations in implementing projects and handling operational matters.
  • Execute projects in financial / balance sheet accounting for our clients.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB or, where applicable, IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Optimize and further develop accounting processes.
  • Provide subject-matter support for system and process implementations.
  • Develop innovative ideas and consulting solutions within the team.
  • Actively shape your own development plan for professional growth in finance and accounting, for example through internal training in areas such as SAP S/4HANA, Power BI and Scrum.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training and/or certified financial / balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) (IHK), or a comparable degree.
  • At least 2–7 years of professional experience in accounting.
  • Confident use of common ERP systems (e.g., SAP or DATEV) and strong MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required in a consulting environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and pronounced analytical abilities.
  • Fluent German language skills.
  • High degree of initiative and enjoyment of independent project work.
