About the role

  • Partner Services Accountant responsible for preparing financial reports and supporting Treasury Management duties at Dominium, tackling the affordable housing crisis.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial reports, journal entries, account reconciliation and analysis, and financial projects
  • Supports Treasury Management duties including monitoring daily cash availability, managing Treasury Management requests, reviewing and transmitting wire transfers, and reviewing and approving accounts payable
  • Serves as a project-focused resource by initiating, preparing, reviewing, and revising projects prior to submission to the Supervisor
  • Supports month-end procedures, interest statement preparation, performing cascades within the system, recording cash activity, and Surplus Cash reporting
  • Supports the Accounting Department by performing or directing authorized accounting functions necessary to ensure effective operations and fulfilling other duties as assigned by Accounting Management
  • Shows initiative and flexibility by going above and beyond standard responsibilities to assist with special projects when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field
  • Minimum of one year of accounting or relevant professional work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with accounting software preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately compile and calculate financial data, including totals, percentages, and variances.
