About the role

  • Pipeline Manager overseeing CG team ensuring efficient resource allocation and mesh creation for Unity. Managing quality control and collaboration with Unity developers for Mobile and VR.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the CG team as a whole, allocating resources to meet the demands of other products as needed
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and enforcing the CG pipeline. The CG pipeline includes: Creation of meshes Validation with instructors/professors (a recursive process throughout modeling) Texturing with optimization required for Mobile and VR Organization of structures within the Bodies (each containing more than 3,500 structures) Their naming conventions, formats, and export parameters Optimization of these meshes for Mobile and VR Controlled export using custom plugins for Maya or equivalent tools, maintaining the link between modeled structures (meshes) and their anatomical information (body information spreadsheets) Import into Unity (working closely with Unity developers for Mobile and VR, primarily).
  • Also responsible for supporting the CG team assigned to Clinical Cases when necessary.

  • Solid technical knowledge of mesh creation, and their import and use within Unity
