Field Validation & Verification Engineer testing GNSS products at Topcon. Perform validation and verification testing of surveying solutions in a controlled environment.
Responsibilities
Execute field validation and verification tests for GNSS receivers, field controllers, and software applications and services
Configure and operate equipment as an end user would, including receiver setup and software-driven device configuration
Test communication interfaces and connectivity scenarios
Validate real-world user scenarios across complex hardware/software setups
Reproduce issues reported by users and dealers and perform root cause analysis
Requirements
Bachelor’s or higher degree in GNSS Engineering, Surveying, Geodesy or a related field
Good understanding of GNSS principles
Intermediate level of English language (sufficient for reading technical documentation and verbal communicating in an international team)
Experience in testing or validation activities
Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
Background in surveying, geomatics, or positioning systems
