Responsibilities
Responsible for the Public Relations department
Coordinate the team
Work in direct collaboration with the executive directors and heads of departments
Further develop communication strategy and communication concepts
Close collaboration with the executive directors and other senior managers
Support senior managers with their communication tasks
Manage internal communication measures (intranet, employee magazine)
Further develop corporate identity and the "VertretungsNetz" brand
Manage media relations: build and maintain relationships with journalists and media partners
Draft press releases and various PR texts
Oversee the website and social media channels
Conduct media monitoring
Organize press conferences
Plan and design events
Lead and coordinate the PR team (2 staff members)
Responsible for budget and resources
Requirements
Completed degree (PR, Communication or equivalent) from a university of applied sciences or university
Several years of professional experience in the social/NGO sector
Excellent knowledge of the Austrian media landscape
Proficient in MS Office and Canva
Excellent command of language
Ability to prepare complex content for different target audiences
Good knowledge of English
Experience with digitization projects and process optimization
High digital proficiency and strong social media affinity
Positive, communicative personality with a professional demeanour
Creativity combined with solution-oriented thinking
