Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the Public Relations department
Coordinate the team and work in direct exchange with the managing directors and department heads
Further develop communication strategy and communication concepts
Work closely with the managing directors and other senior managers
Support managers with their communication tasks
Manage internal communication measures (intranet, employee magazine)
Further develop the corporate identity and the “VertretungsNetz” brand
Oversee media relations: build and maintain contacts with journalists and media partners
Draft press releases and other PR texts
Maintain the website and social media channels
Conduct media monitoring
Organize press conferences
Plan and design events
Lead and coordinate the PR team (2 employees)
Responsible for budget and resource management
Requirements
Completed degree (PR, Communications or equivalent) from a university of applied sciences (FH) or university
Several years of professional experience in the social sector / NGO environment
Excellent knowledge of the Austrian media landscape
Proficient in MS Office and Canva
Strong language skills; ability to prepare complex content for different target audiences
Good command of English
Experience with digitalization projects and process optimization
High digital literacy and affinity for social media
Positive, communicative personality with a professional demeanour
Creative combined with solution-oriented thinking
