About the role

  • Acquisition Analyst supporting Navy acquisition and contract management at TMB, Inc. Assisting the team with strategies, documentation, and program execution tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Team Ships Front Office (TSFO)
  • Responsible for all acquisition and contract management support required by the TFSO Director of Acquisition
  • Support to development of Acquisition Strategies, development and maintenance of all program contracting actions and acquisition milestone decision documentation required by NAVSEA, the program sponsor, FMB, and congress
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and other materials for senior leadership
  • Provide guidance and oversight to collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, organizing, and executing of meetings, events, and off-sites
  • Support program reviews, milestone decision reviews, and conferences
  • Develop and review briefing materials and process documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting U.S. Navy Acquisition programs
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle documentation and terminology
  • Preferred experience in a Navy program office, working with defense contractors and government agencies
  • DAWIA certification (Level I or II in Program Management or Contracting preferred)
  • Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings
  • Ability to be able to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions
  • Ability to be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in a backpack or messenger bag in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions
