About the role
- Analista de Materiais responsible for analyzing order portfolio and critical materials ensuring alignment with needs, suppliers, and deadlines. Working at Emerson, a global automation technology leader.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of the order portfolio (product structures, "make vs. buy", required dates, requirements, assemblies, inspections, rescheduling, etc.)
- Analysis of critical materials (requirements vs. supplier commitments, monitor shipment and arrival status, paints – in cases involving painting, etc.)
- Release of materials for assembly (release production lists, open and close production orders, subcontracted operations, etc.)
- Set material release priorities for Quality, ensuring the availability of all documentation requested by customers, and work with Engineering and Sales teams when discrepancies occur
- Review dates and update them in the system, and inform Customer Service in case of issues/delays
- Prepare the monthly materials forecast to fulfill open Sales Orders. Monitor progress to ensure delivery according to the forecast.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Production/Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- Proven experience in Materials and Production Planning
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Oracle preferred
- Mandatory knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced English
- Power BI is a plus
