Responsibilities
Developing remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies
Managing complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts for a variety of project sites
Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management
Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to facilitate repeat business
Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability
Management and mentoring of early career staff and managing subcontractors
Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related field
Advanced degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.) if applicable
At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
