- Director of Housing Investments oversees acquisitions and dispositions for Nuveen’s real estate portfolio. Leading investment strategies and mentoring junior staff while managing key external relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures of Nuveen’s real estate portfolio
- Source new housing acquisition opportunities and track active deals
- Lead underwriting and analyze property information and market research
- Coordinate compliance for closing and funding transactions
- Maintain external relationships with key market participants
- Oversee due diligence for asset acquisition and disposition opportunities
- Evaluate investments based on discounted cash flows and returns
- Manage and mentor junior staff
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct multifamily acquisition/disposition experience
- 7+ years of direct multifamily acquisition/disposition experience preferred
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Advanced analytical/reasoning skills
- Experienced and proficient in Excel
- Demonstrable track record of investment activity in the housing sector.
