About the role
- Freelance Senior Webflow Developer creating new digital experiences for tech-focused brands at Thinkingbox. Collaborating closely with design team to ensure technical viability and build high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Own the initial Webflow setup: global styles, class naming system, structure, CMS collections, and component libraries.
- Establish scalable architecture that aligns with Thinkingbox’s standards and best practices.
- Work hand-in-hand with our design team to validate feasibility, recommend technical adjustments, and ensure designs translate cleanly into Webflow.
- Provide guidance on interactions, animations, responsive behavior, and component structure.
- Develop high-quality pages or modular components depending on project requirements.
- Implement refined animations and interactions using Webflow Interactions and lightweight custom code where needed.
- Ensure all builds meet accessibility, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Conduct responsive testing across breakpoints and browsers.
- Document architecture and build decisions to support handoff or future expansion.
- Integrate essential third-party tools (analytics, forms, marketing tools, simple API connections).
Requirements
- Availability from December 1st-23rd with an option to extend.
- Expert-level experience in Webflow with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual fidelity and technical precision.
- Experience delivering digital work for tech companies or tech-adjacent projects.
- Strong understanding of semantic structure, responsive design, accessibility, and CMS best practices.
- Ability to assess design feasibility and partner with designers to build scalable, realistic solutions.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, with working knowledge of JavaScript for enhancements.
- Skilled at building maintainable component systems and structured site foundations.
- Proven ability to collaborate with teams, including openly sharing your processes and best practices.
