About the role

• Mid-level Developer responsible for developing scalable web applications at Grupo AFL. Working with Next.js and Python to innovate and deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality applications using Next.js and Python;
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code, following development best practices;
• Contribute to the internal development team on new projects and support existing projects, using development practices and tools;
• Build system and platform interfaces using TypeScript and Python, adhering to design and usability standards and guidelines;
• Perform unit testing using appropriate tools and frameworks for each platform and language, ensuring the quality and functionality of systems and platforms;
• Participate in activity planning and project tracking;
• Create technical documentation to support understanding and implementation of business rules and code.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Analysis and Development or a related field;
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Backend developer focused on Django and Python;
• Proficiency with React and/or Next.js, Python, Django, SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, ECS, ECR, and Glue;
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub;
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns.
