About the role
- Backend API Engineer responsible for building secure APIs and platform services. Working on real-time interfaces to enable token streaming and event-driven workflows for digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Build APIs using FastAPI / Node.js in AWS Lambda or ECS/EKS.
- Implement WebSocket support for streaming agent output.
- Manage routing, rate limits, token streaming, session management.
- Implement signed Bedrock calls through VPC endpoints.
- Partner with Front-End and Agent Engineers on schema contracts.
- Integrate EventBridge, SQS/SNS, SecretsManager.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in backend API development
- Production microservice experience.
- Bedrock API + token streaming experience.
- Secure API design competency.
- Strong performance optimization skills.
