Responsibilities

  • Supervise legal staff assignments, workload distribution, and daily performance
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide coaching and mentorship
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development
  • Develop and maintain standardized procedures for legal support operations
  • Partner with firm leadership on staffing needs, resource planning, and case support strategies
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, court rules, filings, and internal protocols
  • Evaluate workflows and implement improvements for efficiency and quality
  • Manage legal technology and case management platforms to optimize team productivity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Paralegal Certificate a plus
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within a legal environment
  • Experience overseeing paralegals, legal assistants, or similar legal support staff
  • Strong background in workflow design, process improvement, and team management
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with legal technology platforms and case management systems
