About the role
- With-Profits ALM Actuary working with £36bn in assets across 22 with-profits funds. Responsible for risk monitoring, asset-liability management, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor the risk profiles of our with-profits funds
- Recommend actions and win approval by presenting to senior leaders
- Drive actions to completion
- Engage with and challenge other teams providing inputs e.g. Finance Reporting
- Deliver process improvements and efficiencies
- Provide technical inputs and outputs to projects requiring WP ALM work
- Supervise and mentor other team members
Requirements
- Good understanding of with-profits balance sheet including capital requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Confident, independent, and curious
- Previous experience in with-profits and/or asset-liability management (desirable)
- At least middling understanding of different asset types suitable for with-profits funds (desirable)
