About the role

  • Senior Corporate Actuarial Analyst at iA Auto and Home Insurance, evaluating actuarial reserves and supporting financial projections. Collaborating on compliance with OSFI requirements and profitability analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the evaluation of actuarial reserves
  • Contributing to the preparation of actuarial financial statements and documentation
  • Supporting financial projections as part of the business plan
  • Participating in work related to OSFI requirements, ORSA, and capital analyses
  • Contributing to profitability analyses and performance monitoring
  • Producing analyses, reports, and performance indicators for management
  • Participating in the improvement of actuarial processes and cross-functional projects

Requirements

  • Recognized for strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Undergraduate university degree in actuarial science
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of SAS or statistical programming
  • High level of rigor and strong team spirit
  • Professional curiosity supporting quality of deliverables
  • Strong communication skills to explain actuarial concepts in French
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in actuarial science
  • Ongoing completion of CAS or CIA exams toward obtaining the ACAS/FCAS and/or ACIA/FCIA designation
  • Advanced level of French proficiency required
