About the role

  • Manager of Data & Applications ensuring effective data management for supply chain operations. Leading a team in enhancing operational efficiency and innovation within PFSCM.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership, development, and management of PFSCM’s data assets and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure that data and applications are leveraged to drive business value, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Maintain the highest standards of data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating across business units to support supply chain operations, performance management, analytics, finance, and more.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data engineering and applications environment.
  • Contribute in establishing and maintaining PFSCM's data governance framework, policies, and standards.
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of the data warehouse (DWH).
  • Collaborate with the business to enhance data quality monitoring and reporting.
  • Manage the implementation of data processing systems (ETL/ELT).
  • Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to improve the data engineering infrastructure.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, product owners, and application specialists.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all data engineering and application-related matters.
  • Manage the lifecycle of data engineering and application-related projects—from planning to deployment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Applied Math, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data management, application management, or related roles, including significant experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS, ETL, data warehousing, and BI tools (Power BI, SSRS).
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data architecture, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with international supply chains and regulatory reporting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Jira and continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage.
  • Willingness and availability to travel, and perform other duties as needed.
  • Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
