  • Data Engineer designing, building, and supporting data integration solutions at Starr & Associates. Role includes working with client delivery teams across multiple projects and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration pipelines across batch, near-real-time, and API-based patterns
  • Build scalable pipelines that ingest, transform, and persist data for downstream consumption
  • Develop solutions leveraging cloud-native data platforms and distributed processing frameworks
  • Implement validation, reconciliation, and monitoring to ensure data reliability
  • Apply secure data handling, access controls, and governance standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational data concepts
  • Experience building data pipelines using Databricks and Azure-based data platforms
  • Experience implementing batch, near-real-time, and API-driven integration patterns
  • Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
  • Understanding of cloud-native data architectures in Azure
  • Ability to support secure, governed data solutions
  • Experience delivering solutions in consulting or project-based environments
