About the role
- Project Controller Intern supporting financial planning and analysis at Thales. Involving budgeting, forecasting, and project tracking in a complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Support in a variety of tasks, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, project tracking, completing periodic reports
- Responsible for program reviews: planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting
- Build scenario analysis to explain the financial impacts whenever requested
- Highlight/manage program risks and opportunities in conjunction with Program Managers
- Support internal and external auditors' reviews and ensures that full documentation and account reconciliations, are provided in a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree prep in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Interest for Corporate finance, Business operations
- Basics in Balance sheet items, Working Capital optimization
- Basics of Profit & Loss Statement report below Commercial Margin
