About the role

  • Regional Sales Manager for ADVANCE Mixer Trucks overseeing sales for the Northeast territory. Engaging with customers through product demo, financing assistance, and territory management.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales for ADVANCE Mixer Trucks
  • Provide product demonstrations and customer support/service
  • Provide distributor support, pre-qualify and assist customers with financing
  • Front and rear discharge sales
  • Communicate with sales coordinator and sales administrator concerning quotes
  • Facilitate activities of field service managers as required
  • Provide coverage where there is no sales presence at the Director of Sales discretion
  • Manage specific territory of outside sales
  • Set-up & attend tradeshows
  • Maintain open communication with co-workers
  • Maintain a thorough commercial and technical knowledge of our products
  • Continually update personal knowledge of new products and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain understanding of competitive products
  • Travel a defined sales district and maintain direct contact with customers
  • Anticipate customers' needs and make suggestions ahead of actual needs
  • Maintain a consistent flow of new ideas for cost cutting and improving sales techniques
  • Produce sales order contracts and sales order checklists
  • Process reports to facilitate used equipment trades or sales
  • Track persistent problems and intercede with appropriate departments
  • Communicate daily with the office providing a weekly itinerary

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 to 7 years experience in the marketing and sale of industrial equipment similar in scope to heavy equipment products
  • Knowledge of a technical field
  • A degree in engineering, business or marketing is preferred
  • Knowledgeable of direct sales practices to construction contractors
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, cultivate and maintain relationships with personnel at all levels of end users of concrete equipment similar in scope to our products manufactured
  • Heavy mechanical ability or service background
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office- Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Contributes information and ideas to development of project plans
  • Experience with equipment operation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage a vast sales territory and set priorities
  • Ability to read, write and utilize mathematical skills
  • Experience with heavy equipment sale
  • Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills
  • Professionalism in all aspects of building and maintaining business relationships
  • Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail
