About the role

  • Architect role focused on AI Solutions for the Materials Processing division at Terex. Leading design, development, and deployment of innovative AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of AI solutions using Palantir, Copilot, and other relevant platforms
  • Serve as the primary technical authority and advisor for AI projects within the MP division
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions
  • Drive change management and adoption of AI technologies across the division
  • Manage AI project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Evaluate and recommend new AI tools, frameworks, and best practices
  • Design, implement, and evaluate LLM based agents, including RAG pipelines, tool use, prompt strategies, safety guardrails, and offline/online evaluation frameworks
  • Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards for security, compliance, performance, and business continuity
  • Design and implement data models, ontologies, and integration strategies to support AI agent functionality and interoperability
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance throughout the AI solution lifecycle
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AI applications
  • Mentor and upskill team members in AI technologies and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience architecting, developing, and validating complex AI solutions, including agent-based systems for both external and internal use
  • Proven delivery on Palantir AIP and/or Microsoft Copilot (or similar enterprise AI/agent platforms)
  • Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Java or similar), and proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and vector/RAG tooling where applicable
  • Strong understanding of validation techniques, performance metrics, and continuous improvement for AI solutions
  • Proficiency with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data lakes) and data integration tools
  • Experience working with data ontologies and designing solutions that leverage structured and unstructured data
  • Experience managing and delivering technical projects, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial context
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
