About the role
- Technical procurement specialist in construction projects, collaborating with project teams and external parties. Ensuring project viability and optimizing procurement strategies for construction requirements.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of the technical feasibility and implementation of a project
- Collaboration within the project team with colleagues from project management, design and estimating
- Contact with external parties (suppliers, subcontractors, specialist planners, authorities, utility companies, etc.) for detailed coordination
- Identifying optimization potential and further developing procurement strategies
- Preparation and evaluation of tenders
- Preparing specifications (bill of quantities)
- Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor offers
- Technical and commercial award negotiations
- Creating and processing orders
- Supplier and subcontractor evaluations
- Project site visits and coordination meetings with site management and subcontractors
- Project-related invoice verification
Requirements
- You have completed a technical construction qualification (Civil Engineering / Construction Technician)
- Solid knowledge of standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook) and preferably experience with Nevaris and Allplan by Nemetschek
- Knowledge of planning techniques and applicable building regulations
- Commercial understanding and cost awareness
- Initiative, openness, ability to work in a team, dedication and flexibility
- Sense of responsibility and reliability
- Good German language skills required
