Responsibilities
We are looking for a Trainee to support the pre-sales team in technical qualification, conceptual solution design, and proposal development for IT services (Managed Services, Cloud, Security, Observability/Monitoring, BaaS/DRaaS, Service Desk, Data & AI).
Discovery and technical qualification: support requirement gathering, map pain points and business objectives, and translate them into initial technical needs.
Proposals and scopes: contribute to creating technical and commercial proposals, including service descriptions, SLAs, RACI, assumptions, and scope boundaries.
Architectures and solutions: produce conceptual diagrams (high level) and comparisons of alternatives (build vs. buy, on-prem vs. cloud, single vs. multi-cloud, etc.).
Workshops and demos: prepare and support POCs, guided demos and technical presentations with specialists.
Estimates and inputs: collect volumes, counts (hosts, VMs, storage, users), service profiles, and inputs for pricing (without pricing independently).
RFP/RFQ: assist with technical responses, compliance matrices, Q&A and issues tracking.
Internal integration: liaise with Sales, Operations/Delivery, Legal and Partners to ensure feasibility and deliverability of proposals.
Content management: maintain pre-sales repositories (templates, one-pagers, playbooks, use cases).
Research and updates: follow vendors, releases and trends in cloud, observability, backup/DR, security and automation.
Requirements
6 to 12 months (internship or junior experience) in IT: support, NOC/SOC, operations, technical inside sales, service desk, or pre-sales.
Experience with corporate environments (on-prem and/or cloud) and basic understanding of managed services.
Experience with technical documentation (tickets, MOPs, inventory, scopes) and reading RFPs/RFIs.
Participation in client meetings (even as an accompanying attendee) and ability to record minutes and next steps.
**Differentials:**
Hands-on experience with BaaS/DRaaS, monitoring/observability (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), service desk/ITSM, backup (Veeam/Commvault), IaaS/PaaS (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Interaction with partners/vendors (IBM, HPE, Dell, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, SAS etc.).
Participation in POCs or migrations (even in a supporting role).
