About the role

  • Customer Service Representative supporting Asia customers for Teledyne Technologies. Responsible for processing orders, customer service requests, and compliance coordination from Tokyo office.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate incoming customer orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Process and assist with sales orders, RMAs, and new customer applications
  • Perform customer screening in support of Trade Compliance requirements
  • Coordinate Export Permit applications between our customers and the Global Trade Compliance Team
  • Review, action, and respond to customer service requests from customers including the status and schedule of orders and repairs
  • Generate backlog and sales reporting
  • Communicate customer requirements such as expedites and schedule changes with internal operations teams at the respective manufacturing facilities
  • Provide support to the sales team as needed and contribute to process improvements within the sales department
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Customer Service experience (technology manufacturing space preferred)
  • SAP Knowledge but we provide training also
  • Strong English skills – both written and verbal
  • A second language is a benefit
  • MS Office Skills, especially Office and Excel
  • Solid administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ERP Experience – SAP S4 preferred
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
