About the role

  • Operative Einkäufer ensuring production supply of mechanical components for global clients. Involves inventory analysis, material planning and supplier coordination in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • You ensure production supply with turned, milled, cast, sheet metal and welded components as well as labels.
  • You record, analyze and plan inventory levels and material requirements to ensure needs-based procurement of the specified components.
  • You conduct inquiries, issue purchase orders and track delivery dates, actively initiating clarification in case of quantity or delivery deviations.
  • You check invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • You ensure the on-time delivery of ordered components and initiate necessary measures if required.
  • You support Supplier Quality in handling supplier complaints and contribute to sustainable quality assurance.
  • You process Jobrouter and SAP purchase requisitions and ensure smooth processing in the system.
  • You take overall operational responsibility for mechanical parts and indirect materials.
  • You act as the operative purchaser for other components as a deputy and ensure continuity of procurement processes.

Requirements

  • You have a recognized commercial or technical qualification (m/f/d), for example as an Industrial Clerk, Technical Purchaser or Industrial Mechanic, successfully completed.
  • You have initial professional experience in a technical company, preferably in operational purchasing of mechanical parts or comparable components.
  • You demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills and work solution-oriented with internal and external partners.
  • You bring sound purchasing experience using SAP S/4HANA or SAP R/3.
  • You have confident user skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
