Responsibilities

  • Systematic inventory and assessment of communication-technology systems
  • Development of electrical engineering concepts or review of existing concepts
  • Preparation of specifications and complete implementation documentation for electrical systems
  • Performing electrical calculations, designs and dimensioning or reviewing them
  • Clarification of technical interfaces between new installations and existing systems
  • Preparation and review of pre-inspection documents within internal and external testing processes
  • Planning of safety and communication systems or review of corresponding plans
  • Responsibility for the design or verification of safety-related systems
  • Execution monitoring during construction and installation phases
  • Professional documentation of results

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Information Technology (Bachelor or Master)
  • Or completed vocational qualification as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of professional experience in electrical planning with a focus on safety and communication technology
  • Solid knowledge of relevant VDE standards and technical guidelines
