About the role
- SAP FI/CO Consultant delivering expertise in financial and controlling modules. Leading SAP projects and ensuring continuous improvements in business processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as a functional specialist in the SAP FI (AP, AR, FI-GL) and CO (Controlling, CO-PA, IM) modules.
- Lead support and maintenance activities, continuous improvement efforts, and SAP projects.
- Perform advanced customizing and propose solutions aligned with business processes.
- Support and drive accounting, financial, and management closing processes.
- Participate in implementations, rollouts, migrations, and upgrades (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
- Prepare and validate functional specifications, supporting the technical team (ABAP).
- Conduct integrated testing (SIT/UAT) and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Serve as the focal point for business users, supporting process definition and improvements.
- Ensure efficient integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS).
- Support training, documentation, and the dissemination of functional knowledge.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant (Senior level).
- Solid experience in the modules: FI: AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), FI-GL (General Ledger); CO: Controlling, CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), IM (Investment Management).
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial, and controlling processes.
- Proven experience in advanced customizing, requirements analysis, and SAP support/sustainment.
- Track record in implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work autonomously and strategically with business areas.
- Experience in medium to large corporate environments.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (implementation or migration).
- Knowledge of integrations between FI and MM / SD / PS.
- Experience with Brazil localization (tax, accounting, and legal/regulatory requirements).
- SAP FI and/or CO certifications.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
