About the role
- Manager SAP Applications overseeing SAP systems for Queensland Rail's operational performance and team leadership. Fostering innovation and teamwork across diverse business areas in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational performance and ongoing improvement of SAP environment
- Manage the entire SAP ecosystem (ECC, BTP, Success Factors, etc.)
- Manage service delivery outcomes through IT Service Management disciplines
- Lead and develop a team, fostering capability growth and a culture focused on delivering value
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, actively participating in governance forums
- Collaborate with Solution and Technical Architects to manage the full lifecycle of SAP applications, including cloud releases
- Support budget planning and ensure compliance with SAP operational and capital expenditure requirements
- Drive technical and architectural decisions in transitioning to S/4Hana
Requirements
- 10-15 years in SAP applications with proven leadership experience within complex IT environments
- Functional and technical hands-on SAP ECC experience is essential; exposure to S/4 HANA is highly regarded
- Experience providing support across the SAP suite, such as SuccessFactors and MM
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively across diverse business areas are essential.
