About the role
- Legal intern supporting the legal team with business law tasks in renewable energy company. Involves contract analysis, legal research, and documentation preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the analysis, drafting and proofreading of all types of commercial contracts
- Advise operational teams on contract execution
- Assist with handling pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Prepare legal documentation required for routine and exceptional corporate transactions
- Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions and summary notes in business law
- Monitor legal developments in collaboration with the legal team
Requirements
- Holder of or currently completing a Master 2 (or equivalent) in Business Law, or a trainee lawyer (élève-avocat) on a PPI internship
- Previous experience in an in-house legal department or law firm is a plus
- Curious, rigorous and organized, with an interest in the renewable energy sector
- Strong proficiency with office software and legal research databases
- Good written and spoken English is required
