About the role

  • Data Analyst collaborating with finance, sales, and IT to deliver robust data solutions. Focused on architecting scalable data pipelines and supporting self-service analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational finance reporting, analytical tools, and self-service data capabilities by collaborating with finance analytics and IT teams.
  • Leverage data engineering best practices to optimize reporting infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the finance data analytics team to design and develop robust Power BI semantic models and dataflows, ensuring scalable and reusable datasets for efficient report development and advanced analytics.
  • Partner with the IT Big Data team to architect and deliver end-to-end data pipeline solutions, utilizing platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and OneLake, and tools such as SQL, PySpark, and Fabric Notebooks to enable seamless data integration and transformation.
  • Engage with business users to develop advanced SQL queries, portal data views, and intermediate to complex analytical models, providing senior leadership with actionable insights and proactive analysis for informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Power BI semantic models and dataflows development
  • 2+ Years of SQL query development
  • 2+ Years of ETL infrastructure development
  • 2+ Years of Power BI dashboard development
  • 1+ Years of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory or One Lake development
  • Bachelor's Degree with Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related quantitative discipline field of study required.
  • Intermediate experience with BI/BW and data visualization tools such as Power BI and SQL
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Spark is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience
