About the role
- Public Cloud Service Integration Engineer designing and delivering cloud platforms at scale. Engineering CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery of database PaaS services across public cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- The Public Cloud Service Integration Engineer designs and delivers modern cloud platforms at scale, taking a code first approach to infrastructure.
- You'll engineer and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins to power automated, repeatable delivery of database PaaS services across public cloud environments.
- Operating at the core of cloud engineering, automation, and DevOps, you’ll partner with cross functional teams to transform infrastructure into clean, version controlled code, accelerate deployments, and raise the bar on reliability, consistency, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure public clouds
- Extensive experience with Python, writing unit testing, working with Docker containers
- Strong experience working with DevOps tools such GitHub Actions and Terraform
- Working knowledge and experience with Relational and NoSQL PaaS databases
- Strong working knowledge of Networking as well as Linux and Windows operating systems
- Problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications and architecture
- Security best practices, Active Directory
- Agile methodology
