About the role
- Loan Operations Supervisor overseeing operations of several functions within Real Estate Secured Lending. Managing personnel, daily workflow, and ensuring SLAs are met while collaborating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversees operations of several functions or processes within Loan Operations
- Supervises operations of multiple functions or processes
- Modifies procedures to improve performance of units supervised
- Works with Group Management to address performance problems, hire staff, train team members
- Ensures SLAs are consistently met
- Generates Insurance Letters and completes a 2nd review of all insurance letters daily
- Monitors day-to-day activities of the department
- Handles escalated customer issues
- Participates in project teams
- Develops relationships with management of internal and external departments
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-5 years' experience
- In-depth knowledge of principles and practices related to the operational areas managed
- Strong leadership, delegation, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- In-depth knowledge of relevant banking rules and policies
- Ability to balance competing priorities and make sound decisions within, and outside of, established policy
- Ability to develop new policies and procedures in response to changes in business environment
