About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide advisory and contentious (litigation) services on Intellectual Property matters, supporting strategy development.
- Draft opinions, technical reports, and analyses of trademark conflicts and infringements.
- Draft and review administrative and court filings.
- Support due diligence of intangible assets and data protection risk assessments in corporate transactions.
- Produce legal updates, technical notes, articles, and training materials.
- Collaborate with other departments and assist in supervising interns, contributing to template standardization and improvement of internal workflows.
- Participate in personal data processing mapping activities and preliminary risk assessments.
- Draft and review privacy governance program documents, such as policies, procedures, and contractual clauses.
- Prepare reports and materials related to impact analyses, incidents, and privacy by design under supervision.
- Monitor and interpret ANPD regulations and related legislation.
Requirements
- Law degree completed and active registration with the OAB (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Previous experience in Intellectual Property and/or Data Protection, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Familiarity with procedures before the INPI (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) and with applicable regulatory frameworks, including the LGPD and, preferably, the GDPR.
- Experience in doctrinal and case-law research, with the ability to structure technical analyses and procedural documents.
- Advanced English for legal reading and drafting.
