Responsibilities
Provide technical and organizational leadership for a nine-person financial accounting team
Ensure proper accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), including monthly and annual financial statements
Ensure smooth processes and perform account reconciliations
Work closely with adjacent departments and stakeholders
Continuously optimize accounting structures, processes, and systems
Serve as the primary point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities
Deliver decision-relevant financial information and actively support management on business and financial matters
Requirements
Experience in corporate financial management or commercial controlling desirable
Solid knowledge of relevant commercial and financial topics
Strong MS Office skills; experience with SAP and DATEV is a plus; high IT affinity
