About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the overall information systems architecture, aligned with business strategy, technological priorities and the company’s growth.
- Define architecture standards (models, frameworks, best practices) for all applications.
- Ensure consistency across software components, infrastructure and cloud services.
- Optimize system performance, scalability and resilience.
- Ensure data and application security in collaboration with the CISO or dedicated security teams.
- Manage technological obsolescence by steering required migrations.
- Lead the technical roadmap for applications, in line with business needs and budget constraints.
- Oversee technology choices (languages, frameworks, tools) for new development and enhancements.
- Actively participate in the design and development of critical solutions as a technical expert, particularly for strategic projects.
- Ensure code quality and application maintainability through code reviews, automated testing and technical audits.
- Set objectives: clarify expectations and priorities for the team, aligned with the IS strategy and business needs.
- Create a stimulating work environment that recognizes individual and team contributions.
- Balance business requests and technical constraints to establish a realistic action plan.
- Implement metrics to measure progress and deliverable quality.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.
- Define and promote development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) appropriate to the size and challenges of an SME.
- Implement project management processes, version control and technical documentation.
- Train and support technical teams (developers, administrators) on best practices and tools.
- Keep up with technological trends and propose relevant innovations for the company.
Requirements
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in software architecture and information systems design.
- Proficiency in the languages and frameworks used within the SYNETICS ecosystem: Python, C#, Angular.
- Knowledge of modern architectures: microservices, APIs, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Awareness of security concerns (ISO 27001 standards, GDPR, secure application development best practices).
